Get down to sea level aboard a rigid-hull inflatable vessel and explore Alaska’s untamed coastline in an open-air, high-speed adventure that brings you face-to-face with nature.

Departing directly from the Icy Strait Point dock, your journey takes you through the wildlife-rich waters of Port Frederick and Icy Strait. With no set route, your captain tailors each trip to the day’s weather and wildlife opportunities. These nutrient-rich waters are home to humpback whales, orcas, sea lions, otters, and more. Keep your camera ready!

Along the way, your captain will expertly position the boat for close-up views of tidal flats, waterfalls, and marine life. You’ll also pause to absorb the stillness of the Alaskan wilderness while learning about the significance of these waterways to the Tlingit people and their enduring culture.

Before departure, you’ll receive a safety briefing and be outfitted with specialized gear to keep you warm and protected throughout the ride.
